Ok well Update, that F series dosen't even fuckn fit! well it does, but the BPT block engine has 4 bolts underneath and 2 on top for the AWD tranny and a the B6-D Block has 4 bolts on top, 2 underneath for the F tranny. WTF??

Can i still hook it up I like that, missing 2 on top and 2 on bottom? If not, wtf kind of s--- are u guys selling me? T.T ( it's a joke, don't take that seriously :p)

But the good news is that we found G series for 350$ ( i think thats good.. lol) oh and some intercooler and an intercooler :)

I'm not sure what you'er doing... but all the 4cyl transmissions interchange, and a BPT block is no different than a BP block... just different internals, and externals. Same baisic cast.

My BP engine had 4 14mm bolts along the bottom, and at least 2 17's up top. Same with my SOHC. DOHC uses the same series of transmission as the SOHC, so everything works....

Are you installing the transmission upside down? lol.

Well, do NOT pay $350 for a G series transmission. Its only worth $50-$100

POX, I LOVE YOU MAN. BUTT, to late, i spent 3 hours yesterday finding those exact same pictures ;( but thank you very much :) SOMEONE SHOULD PUT THAT IN THE FAQ!!

Ryan,

It's the ONLY one in quebec.. the other nearest is in Ontario.

Junkyards share the same database, they all have f--- all!! (protge, escort, bla bla, u name it!!)

The one we found comes from a JDM store in St-Laurent.

Most pull-it-yourself yards don't keep track of their specific inventory. Lots of gems in those, as not everyone wants to do their own work.

Every junkyard I have been ( at least 10 ) have never let me walk in there yard alone!

Every time I ask, they look at me like a retard or say stuff like "What do you think this is, a California junkyard?"

Sometimes I just walk right in.. but then they threaten to call the cops.

So man, I dunno BUT it seems like some strict bulls--- Quebec law has been applied regarding junkyards.

Well, I have all 3 diagrams jame packed in my head and is as clear as day!

One thing though, The engine we got never came withe the MAF or airbox! Can I use the VAF from the B6-D DOHC? And since there is no airbox, we have no wastegate solenoid valve(it's was mounted in the airbox, dont care about the actual box ;p)!

Another thing, just curious, what does the Air Bypass Valve do? ( between intercooler and I/M ) Regulates pressure incase PSI is to high??

Air bypass valve is like a BOV except it re-routes the air back into the intake.

An upgrade for the VAF would be an RX-7 unit. It is much larger then any of the other VAFs and is easily tuned.

The wastegate has to be tied into the charge pipe.

Sorry, could you elaborate please?

On a second note, we went junkyard intercooler searching yesterday (well we only had time to go to one since it was near closing time). We asked them for not so big of an intercooler as we are only gonna be running like 5 or so PSI. The came to us with a Audi A5 intercooler, 10x8x2 for dimensions.

The wastegate needs to see only boost. So, anywhere before the throttle body is where you need to put the vac line to. They say you can even tap it off the intake, but then the wastegate will also see vacuum, putting more stress on the internals of the wastegate.
