Well Ryan don't you feel bad for offending the newb who posted the same question 5 times in the wrong forum when the answers are readily available in the right one!Ryan wrote:Not sure if there is anything in the forum-unsaid-laws about posting PM's... but I must.

Wow.. this guy will have to change his user name. What a moron. Ya, you can bolt on wheels and ummm that tip for your exhaust that makes it sound like it has a turbo. Only god knows how he can figure out how to PM Ryan... but not use the search function.
Oh, my buddy..
Just because your friends delsol bites, does not mean it can eat.

Re: performance
A brain in your head should be the first step to a faster car.
Go back to your friend's delsol and have him drive you around, please keep the rice from the mx3.

Re: performance
Del Sol= fun car.... not the same as a fast car... There are some huge limits to what it can do (small engine bay) the best thing ive seen was an all-wheel drive swap (cr-v was the host)... but honestly... and mx-3 with a KLZE > del sol w/ B16/18/20

Re: performance
My buddy has the only cool del sol. Front and rear turbo H22's with forged internals. He cut out a civic engine bay and fit it into the rear of the del sol.. awesome as hell just to see. No idea if it ever made it to the track since both engines were dropped in. I know the mid engine RWD set up made it, but no idea on the numbers.

Oy! I test drove one, I don't mind them. It's always up to the owner to represent their car as it is in a way a representation of them. If owner can't be respected than chances are neither can the car, and vice versa.Inodoro Pereyra wrote:Now there's an oxymoron...RS_OBD'oh_2 wrote:... cool del sol.

I don't mind them either, but that doesn't make them cool._-Night-Shade-_ wrote:Oy! I test drove one, I don't mind them. As far as I'm concerned, it's a car that tries to hard.
It wants to be a convertible, and it's not.
It wants to be a coupe, and it's not.
It wants to be a sports car, and it's not.
It's just a "wannabe car"...

Re: performance
Whoa...! Take it easy, Mr cranky...
I can read just fine, thank you.
Now, if YOU can read, you may notice my beef with the del sol is precisely the body, so my point stands.
Everything other than the body, is just another civic.

Re: performance
My only beef with the DelSol is the interior. I'm 6'6" and ~250 lbs, I just can't fit behind the steering wheel and so i have a problem with it. And I need a sunroof to be able to keep my vanilla ice hairstyle from getting messed up.
... But I also can't fit into an Mx-5 either. Though the convertible/removable hardtop makes the hair issue nonexistent.
