Favorite car
Ok, I did a search for it, and no thread came up, so here it goes...
What cars, other than the MX-3, of course, you love, like, would love to have or already have?
In my case, there are several:
My wet dream cars: Mc Laren F1 GTR, Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Diablo VT, and Audi Avus quattro.
Then...
Renault: '78 Torino ( for those who don't know it, here's a pic http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_ima ... _large.jpg), and '09 Laguna Coupe (http://www.netcarshow.com/renault/2009- ... per_02.htm)
BMW: Z4M, 325i coupe.
Chevrolet: '72-'73 Camaro, and '78 Corvette
Mazda (ahem): MX-5, RX-8, gen 3 RX-7, gen 1 RX-7 convertible, RX-3, and Kabura, if they ever build it.
Mitsubishi: 3000 GT, and Eclipse.
Nissan/Datsun: 280 ZX turbo
Porsche: 944 turbo, and any 911.
So...what are yours?

Re: Favorite car
Vanquish...is...sex.
As for the unobtainable...the Koenegsigg CCX is the sickest car ever built by mankind in my opinion.
In terms of something I might someday own...I would pounce on a 2011 Mazdaspeed 6 if it comes into being. I am also deeply interested in the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
More than any of them though, I'm most in love with the car in my head. Someday...someday.

94' RS/GS/MS/CF Monster Turbo...coming soon.
93' GS SE, the Black Beast, the former love of my life...soon to be gutted and crushed.
94' GS, black on black, now in several small pieces...and one large crushed piece.
2007 Mazda3 GT Sport --- super fun
2004 Honda RC51 --- Lost forever to some theavin' bastard
My Worklog
My feedback thread
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Re: Favorite car
heh IP you mean like this:
![Image](http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/3/3332/1001/33328000001_large.jpg)
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3332800" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's good.. but I had to replace all the coolant lines and realized how much work is involved in repairing stuff.. it's not a fun engine bay.
But my dream cars:
'04 Mazda RX8 with red interior
Blue Mazda Miata
Yeah I'm simple minded lol.. and all Mazda.
though, I recently worked on an old Corvette Stingray.. I loved that one too.

I've been toying around the thought of getting another car to turn into a project once I finish the interior/exterior of my mx3 instead of turboing it like I want to...fact is, there are many other cheap cars that I like besides it.
I've always wanted to build myself a frame, and either adapt a multilink suspension, or build my own. If I build my own, I've very temped to experiement with pneumatics, or EM suspensions...
You guys have all listed the other cars I'd love to have, except maybe the Celica All-trac st185.

Wow, that's a lotta cars...
Ionic: Which batmobile? I like the Tumbler...
D_R: yes, that's the one. I have heard before they're kind of a pain to work on, but I like the styling. A clean, no BS sports car.
Did you finally get your RX-8? You said some time ago you had found one...
Wytbishop: I also have my own baby (babies) in my head. Like you said, someday...

Re: Favorite car
If I had to choose one that has all ready been made I would probably take the tumbler also, but If I got to do a custom one off it would be the batmobile drawn by Alex Ross. Alex Ross is known for his realistic style of comic characters and when he did the series "Justice", he finally showed us his interpretation of the batmobile.

For the base I would probably use a Plymouth Prowler.

lol, you remind me of the guy who collected millions of pepsi points (or w/e it was) to get the Harrier Jet that they had advertised on TV and was pissed off when he didn't get it.Flyer wrote:Delorean with hover conversion and flux capacitor
