bought the car from a really nice lady so i doubt we got ripped off or anything but i noticed something to do with the frame.
one frame rail on the drivers side is 100 % straight.
frame rail tilts upward towards the end on the passenger side but
the floor is slightly raised too.. ( wondering if this is factory on your cars too? )
figured you all owned these cars you could be the best help comparing yours to mine lol.
thanks guys !

Re: Body question on our new v6
Don't be worried, I've seen this before and its because of 1 thing:
Jackstands or jacks used from the side
People put jackstand or a floor jack on the frame for periods of time and eventually it starts flatteniing out the frame slightly. They should be putting the stands on something more supportive like the a-arm area or where the spot welds are under the door even.

Re: Body question on our new v6
can this fail inspection in the future?
ok , and the next question is the floor slightly raised on the passenger side of all these cars?

I couldn't tell u about the inspection.
As for the raised floorboard, again that could be from a jack or some other thing pushing from the bottom, its not especially strong. I wouldn't get to worried. My forst mx had the same issue under the drivers side frame rail and the ds floor pan, it was raised

Re: Body question on our new v6
My floors aren't raised but I've put a jack on the rails for a short period of time because I needed an easy way to get to my Cat bolts and our jack isn't quite a big one. For the most part, doing that shouldn't raise your floor so it seems like someone put a jack somewhere clean on the unibody floor pan.
Re: Body question on our new v6
ok , i just wanted to know if any of your passengers floors are sort of ..up slightly .. curved in a way and if your frame rail was inclined a little.
we gotta MVI the car , and it needs a bunch of small stuff , i want to have it all done drive it in and pass , everything else is solid on the car but i wasnt sure about the frame deal. didnt want them to tell me to chuck the car lol
