Anyone know what weight the G series trannys are? Tried searching and FAQs but no luck yet.

When I lift it in and out of the back of my car it feels like about 100lbs or so.

Struth, didn't think it was that heavy, though I remember it being considerable enough after a few attempted slides. Trying to pick up a spare to fit the LSD to, but unfortunately it involves shipping :( Thanks for the estimate.

Might be a bit less, but not much. Certainly no less than 80lbs.

I weighted it for shipping, I believe it was 90-95lbs

I have three on the floor ( sans oil ) will weight them and post back in a couple of days
90lbs sounds right to me..

90-95 is spot on, depending if you weigh it with the mounts attached.

If the G series is the 5 speed, it weighs 69 Lbs and change. Yeah, I weighed it.

mine got shipped, company said it was 85pds.. if i had the one on my basement i'd weigh it right now for you, but its in the hatch at the shop..

between 70-90pds lol
