I have a 94 Laguna blue and a 95 Classic red R model.
Any mx3 owners have/had a miata?

I had a chance to buy a Miata that was track ready, but my girlfriend says I can only have 2 cars at a time. Currently, I have 2 MX-3s, a Mercedes, and a 33' RV. I would have liked to race it, but it's really fun beating people in an MX-3.

I like miatas
I like the newer roadsters look the best, but they all remind me of classic old sports coupes. Besides, they all handle perfectly, albiet I think they're very underpowered stock.

I LOVE miatas, and I'd LOVE to get one.
But I'm with Fowljesse: getting beat my a miata is not a big deal, everybody knows they're fast, and they can be upgraded fairly easily.
But, don't you love to see their faces when you smoke them on an mx3?

Some guy took his out to mazda in the mountains 08. No one talked to him. We did have a good laugh at him trying to look cool. Everyone I know think of them as mazdas female offspring.
I'm not hatin, that's just the way it is.

I love the miatas simply because they are convertible and look like an mx3, well the older ones. I dont like the new ones.I like the ze miata lol
You guys are right tho, the face on people whenthey got smoked by an mx3 hehe, or other mx3ers face when they see you kick rear at the track, its amazing.

Well, it does have a perfect weight ratio (screw nc miatas) it only weighs 2400 ish and puts down close to what the mx-3's do but can be boosted alot quicker.

I am tired of people instantly questioning miata owner's masculinity. They have the perfect lines made by mazda that they used for the mx-3 and the rx-7, but no one calls them girl cars.
I saw this picture of one that had a full race cage, HUGE fender flares making space for the 255 tire, and a ls3. The entire thing was flat black.
I cried

Mx-3's and Rx-7's evolved. I understand potential, power to weight ratio and balance... But c'mon man. Ya, I'd drive one, and they are great for time attack and auto-x. Owning one.. I don't know. To each their own, but my friends would never let me live that one down.Collier wrote:I am tired of people instantly questioning miata owner's masculinity. So... even though it is a car that performs really well, you wouldn't own one because of what other people might say to you.RS_OBD'oh_2 wrote:Mx-3's and Rx-7's evolved. Now that deserves a question of masculinity.
