FLYRTLE 5.0 - The South Florida Edition

Here it comes, Florida's fifth annual Flyrtle meet. This year we'll be doing it September 19-20th in West Palm Beach as usual and the activities will include a dyno day, dinner/meet n greet, big party, and the big bbq & meet at Okeeheelee park on Sunday.

Here's the deal for this year:

Saturday September 19th
The day will start off with a dyno day for everyone to showcase their rides, or just hangout and watch the festivities. Shaodome will be on hand for all the MS guys in need of tuning from our legendary local tuner (Full Dyno details below). After the dyno I'm arranging a room at a local Fridays/Chilis type of place for a meet n greet for everyone to grab a bite and get acquainted before the big party Saturday night. Saturday night is a repeat of last years house party that ended up spilling into the street and turned into a block party with all the neighbors. It's not to be missed, poker table will be out for the gamblers.

Sunday September 20th
Flyrtle Car Meet and BBQ at Okeeheelee park. This will mark the 5th year we've been at Okeeheelee, that's a 1/2 decade :jump: It's proved to be an ideal place with great facilities, capacity and atmosphere. The BBQ will start at 12PM and will be in the Osceola Pavilion (same one as last year). All the food and drinks are provided so take a rest from the economy and enjoy a free lunch and cool cars.

Hotel Info:
For out of town attendees I recommend the Holiday Inn off the turnpike in Lake Worth, it's very close to Okeeheelee park. We've stayed there at all the past Flyrtles and it's been great.

I'll be working out a group rate and editing the post with the info once I have it nailed down. To book a room call the Holiday Inn @ 800-325-8193.

Dyno Day
After speaking with many shops I managed to work out a deal that will be affordable for everyone and be at the best shop for location, parking, & equipment. We'll be dynoing at HP Logic which is about 10 minutes from the park, and about 5 minutes from the restaurants and house for the Saturday after dyno festivities. There's plenty of space in the parking lot to line everyone up and do photo shoots as well as a waiting room with a comfy couch/big screen TV and a window into the dyno area for everyone to watch. I'll bring the Wii for some Mario Cart or Wii Sports action while you;re hanging out.

There's a limited number of cars we can fit in a day so get reserved early.
Rates are:
$35 for 3 pulls with AFR
$75/hr if you wanna tune (unlimited pulls for the hour)
DYNO RUNS ARE PREPAID ONLY, I have to pay in advance to secure the location. PM me for payment info.

For those that are boosted the dyno also reads boost so you can see your spool and boost curve right on the dyno plot. Come out and run 3 pulls with your bolt on car you're just getting working on or run a full hour of tuning for your megasquirted monster. I'll have some prizes for the highest all motor and highest boosted dynos.

Still to come....
