diesels are the only trubo motors i know of without a BOV, yes you have a stock one it just doesnt blow to the atmospere thats why you dont hear it.

first upgrades look into turbos, theres plenty of options good to 400+ at the wheels that bolt up to the stock mani. dr500's is what you want. and dont touch the boost till you have a wideband

MAKE SURE THE TIMING BELT HAS BEEN DONE....if it hasn't do it, the vr4 is a interference motor and if your belt goes you'll be buying a new motor as your valves, will kiss your pistons.

Isn't that a bypass valve? It just dumps back to the intake right? I'm not a turbo guy but it intrigues me.
