4cyl tranny question

I have the 1.6L DOHC..I just got a parts car but its the SOHC engine. They're both 5spd but I was just wondering if the tranny from the sohc would work in my dohc. Its still a perfect tranny so I dont wanna just scrap it. Anyways, please let me know. Thanks

The transmissions are 99% the same.
