Cd-Player works great! cost. $15.00. The salvage yard wants 200 for the engine.

Finally back, No, I did not grab the engine. I'm still wondering if it will work. I dont really see why it couldn't work? I cant have alot of downtime with my car so it would have to be a weekend job. Just want to get my facts first.
What do people recommend?

Oh, and here are some pics of the the car in all its stock glory. It looks like I'll be working at the post-office again so this will change.

If you're wondering about the intake. I had no choice, the stocker was junk. This set up cost around $65.00 and I couldn't be happier. If my math is correct the car has 102,000 miles? You canadians probably know. Also, how rare are monogrammed front seats? I've never seen seats that say mx-3 on them before.

I'll try and get some pictures. They're like the regular seats, 1994-1998 , but in the center it says mx-3, very factory look, so I dont think someone made them for it.

Ok, here is a little update. Did a lot today in terms of getting the ball rolling on this car. I picked up a green 1995 parts car. Its rust free, and has the parts I need in good non dented condition. Not this weekend but the next I'm replacing the hood, passenger side fender and door from the green car. Also having my friend redo the green cars headliner in black swede, then putting that in the silver car.
I also talked to the guy that I want to do the body work on the car. Its going to be around $2,300 in the original color.
Not bad for having everything fixed and painted. You should see the job he did on my friends rx-7. Also did an amazing job on an integra that won" best paint job"in a show a while back.

Also got some rims today. Not really my style, and a little larger then I would like, but for $300.00 who cares. They dont actually look that bad on the car. Anything beats the steel wheels and hubcaps. They're actually less then a year old and have only about 5,000 miles on them and the tires. Belonged to a friend before he went to 15".

This is more of my style, and some day I'll have some.

I'm worried I'll have the moster truck look with the 17's. Oh well, more of an incentive to get a nice suspension.
What do you all recommend? I like the stance of mooneggs car.

weekends projects involve removing interior carpet, covering it in incredible pink, then pressure washing the crap out of it.

removed the incredibly getto "security system" today. Its was so badly done. I wish I knew where the previous owner took it in for that. Anyway, all fixed and done right. Remember everyone, solder is your friend.

No longer really for sale I guess. I dove into the body work because I couldnt stand it any longer. So I have no choice now. Which is fine with me. She will be done at some point. I just really need to focus on getting some more power out of it. Its really driving me crazy! I'l have some more pictures up soon of the fully cleaned interior and the work I've been doing.

wow, I did end up selling the car. Room mate up and just left me at that time and then I got laid off all in about a month. Really bad time for me. Good news is I'm in the market for another mx-3 and really hope to keep it this time. But it may take me awhile to find what I'm looking for. Basically I want my old red rs back. I dont care about color, but I do want cruise,a/c,pw,pl etc... all that stuff. And yes, I still want an RS. This will be my fourth mx-3. I've already started ordering parts I'm that serious. Found a few mx-3's in my state but all junk or "16 ball vteck" < seriously check out CL vermont, what does that mean?
