Perfect mod for my flat black hood, what ga should be used? 16? 18? Should it be formed or will a straight piece work?

I don't know the guage, but you're going to want to form them before welding them on.

I'm glad Marc hooked you up. I want to do it, too, when I make a fiberglass hood.
You've already got the CF eyelids, Mooneggs....

The difference is that it will make my car look sleepy or lazy vs. ANGRY  mine will look more like eyelids vs. eyebrows

it's all about the lines... if you choose rounded it's going to look less aggressive that straight lines...

I know they have eyelids available. Why doesn't someone just make some angry eyelids? Wouldn't it look about the same on the pg 1 pic?

Neg, eyelids won't look as clean, and are better for the sleepy eye look IMO. I guess someone could try it to see how it would come out, but I think modifying the hood itself is the best way!

I had eyelids on my first mx3 and they didn't look like the extended hood. As moonegs said, its all about the lines, even just modding it abit will make a difference.

Maybe I like it just a little more angry but this is a pic of how far I want to go.

I would actually like that particular hood mod, if they reshaped the fender to not have that corner where it meets the hood.
