I bought new tires in december.

They were slashed in march.

400 bucks thrown out the window.

Sucks man. You able to do the body work and fix it again?

Yeah its just a super pain in the a--.. and the ideal temperature for doing work is about 75* all of the bondo and paint works best around that temp and summers in oregon are about 85-90 and muggy.. bleh but yeah eventually it will be fixed some bas-tard wont get me down...

^I've been thinkin about that since I read that the car had been attacked. A carputer wouldn't work unless you had the car auto start every time the battery got low, and it would use alot of HD space. While you could have it run a loop program of sorts, I think an easier solution is to wire an alarm to some sort of camera, so that it takes pictures all around the car.

I just considered having an extra battery, build a low-power carputer. Something that drains an average of 30-40 watts isn't a big deal I don't think.

as far as lots of hard drive space, programs compress the video on the fly, which means, with a small resolution you'll be able to pack in hours of video in just a few gigabytes. Every day you can rewrite the same video.

Yes, but you'd need 3 cameras to get all the angles which bumps up the power drain, HD space required and processing power required to handle it all. I have thought about this as well, as it is the comprehensive option but it needs the largest capital investment. I would want it to catch peoples faces if they key the car as well as any license plates of people that back into you, otherwise there is no point.

How about. I know who did it. Im going to crack an egg on his mommy's car that he brags soooo much about. Knowing how much of a dumbass this kid is, THAT SAME NIGHT he will come to my house to get my car back.

option 1 (get a video camera and tape him being a B*T*H)
option 2 (beat his *ss silly) with a few of my friends

cause it seems that other people are more mad about it than i am....

weird

Hey I know how you feel about wanting to beat the s**t out of people.

My car has no pics on here as of lately because:

1. The side fender (driver) got bashed in, almost ruining my side skirts
2. The passenger side was keyed from the front to the bottom.
3. I still have the damage from my accident a year ago (bumper + hood needs painted still)

and (though not the reason for pics) a while back someone bashed in my trunk key area and broke in (stealing my subs)

so yeah.. I want to beat the s**t out of someone..

a camera would be sweet.. but yeah.. lots of power drained.

there is probably another option and if so i'll let you know of one.
