i heard of a supercharger that could go in the mx3 and fit where the ac compressor is does anyone know wut car thats out of

its out of a bmw, you need to make a custom mount for it. ive got one but have not fabbed up a mount yet but you will need all the other goodies to go along with it to make it run. ive also heard there is not enough room for it to fit in the mx3. the rad is about 2" closer than on the probe and it barely fits in them. its also a clutched sc so it is set to 5lbs of boost so its not a huge amount of extra power. this is going into my winter 323 klze this summer/fall after i repaint the car.

I just read today that someone took one out of a toyota Previa or something like that (minivan) from a junk yard so I figured I would go that route but im also interested in what bmw has a S/C

i was told that the sc out of the mercedes kompressor would work the best and u can place it where your ac is

The supercharger I loose sleep over is the one from Mercedes Kompressor (m62). Dan on clubprotege.com is putting one on a MX-6 V6 to go in his 323 right now. http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/showth ... 216&page=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
One of the really kool features is that like an A/C compressor it can be switched on and off! (note the A/C style clutch on it)
