That is what he had. The bottom is plywood, but inside the sub encloser it has been fiberglassed, a lot.... And the other parts of the enclosure is MDF.

Oh and if anyone would like a set of door pods he can make pretty easy since I have 2 sets of extra door panels . They are pretty sweet!!! Running 10gauge through the door was the hardest part!!

yeah its the same neuman as cp.com or any other board with the user name neuspeedescort! LOL

if anyone wants stuf done just contact me via PM, IM, or email. i got a set of rear speaker mounts from that mx3 i parted out i was thinking of making pods on but would like a buyer adn speaker size before i invest time and money in them.

the only parts that are plywood are the base floor template and the amp rack plates. i layed between an 1/8"-1/4" of glass on the box floor area so its not going to play any factor in strength. when building floors like that plywood is stronger then mdf or other forms of partical board. since its only 1/2" thick.

clayton came over the other night and helped lay out the base coat of bondo. an i sanded on it a bit lastnite while he finished installing his door speakers. would have been all done thursday if someone wouldn't have busted his speaker spade! still need to get some daytime pics of them.

very nice work, nice gear aswell... makin me miss my mx-3. If I were you guys I'd consider a group buy on those door pods. Can't wait to see it finished, I'm trackin the thread on smd.

if i could get enough people to want them i would build a few more sets.

just the tweeter size and the magnet of the driver would make things easy or hard. i could play with the position of the driver a little to make it more universal.

SMD was updated with the spiderman milk pics!!! Neuman just finished a lot of sanding and still needs a couple hours then it is off to paint!!
