End of an Era.

Post by Custommx3 »

As of last night, my MX-3's are gone :(.

It was a sad day for me, but maybe down the road I will get another. Having a child, friends moving on, and economy in the crapper, I decided its best to let someone else enjoy them rather than see them sit and rust. Congrats to Adam on his new purchase.

I'm not leaving the scene, just leaving ownership for the time being.

I hope that one day you can get another MX, but life always comes first.

There's a shift in "The Force". You're one of the MX-3 Jedi. I hope you can get another one relatively soon.

Every beginning has an end.

Alright I'll just shut up.

Again I feel I got into this a little too late and missed communicating and sharing with some real great people. I hope you plan to stick around at least a little longer.

Wow this is a shock, I knew the day would come but its still surprising. I guess its the same as when I got rid of all my MX-3s, just on a larger scale since nobody cared when I got rid of mine haha. Good luck with whatever else you end up working on.

it feels like someone died every time an old MX-3'er moves on. Nice car BTW...if you're into that sort of thing. Pfft.

Thanks guys. Wife and I were talking this morning about maybe buying another one in a year or so.

The motor swap didnt happen because when our son was born, time was never available. Wanting to sell my house and move, I dold most of my parts/cars to pay off bills.

As far as performance mods on the MS6, just a Mazdaspeed CAI, HKS SSQ BOV, testpipe. You'd be suprised on how restrictive this engine is stock. My next addition will be the Cobb AccessPort programmer. BTW the numbers I posted are @ the crank, not the wheel. They are assumptions based off of other's cars dyno'd with the same mods.
