Mrspanky79, could you post or send me a step by step on what you did? I don't know cars and i know even less about welding, but i would love to give what you did a shot. I have a 92 mx-3 with the 4 cyl. that i've had for a couple months now and i'm looking to start modding it. limited budget, so something like this looks perfect.

Well you might need a full rack of beer when you try to get the bolt out. There is only one that holds the shifter in and its a pain in the a$$ to get it out.
