Need some help identifying connectors

Post by Mad Cow »

I pulled out my wiring harness and there are a few connectors that either weren't connected or went to a sensor that I don't know about.

1.) This one was near the battery area:

2.) Near the battery, hanging down not connected to anything:

3.) Somewhere around the belt side of the engine:

4.) Also around there:

5.) Near the ECU:

Also, the wires for connector 1.) were completely cut off at connector 5.), there were 2 other wires connected that went somewhere up the dashboard. There was also a +12V wire cut off at the ECU connector. :?

Front 02 sensor or EGR plug. I am thinking EGR

2.) Near the battery, hanging down not connected to anything:

This connects to a plug that goes to the tranny, check by the intermidiate shaft, the plug will proly hang. i think it is the speedo or reverse sensor.

4.) Also around there:

Looks to be power steering plug

1 isn't an O2 sensor, those are 4 wires, and I have both O2 sensors marked. That would be good if it's EGR because I disconnected mine anyway. I doubt that it's EGR related though, it's down near the battery, nowhere near the IM.
2 would explain where the cut wires from my reverse sensor go.

Can't be, it's part of the engine harness, why would the radio need to know about EGR?

So, the engine harness goes into the car, that looks like a inside plug. I think that plug is actually up above the ecu on the drivers side. Check up there, should be 1 or 2 plugs

Yea it's an interior plug right beside the ECU. My car is 120km away so I can't check where it goes, and I forgot exactly where I pulled it out of, but that EGR plug goes into it.
