[WTB] 626/ Probe Transmission
I'm skiddish of getting one in a junkyard, so if one of you have one (especially rebuilt), I'm looking for the one with a taller final drive, and 5th gear, especialy if you're not far away.

Isnt the Probe Tranny the same as the MX-3 Tranny?

I think he means the 626 or the MX-6...

The later Probes had the 626 gearing.
I'm thinking about putting the Escort gears into it, but would be happy with not having to rebuild one. There are a surprising number of options available, one of which would give pour cars the ability to go 200mph theoretically.
