For an egay turbo.. you will need THAT and STILL need to kink the line.



They cant handle much pressure. I would run it normal, with that restrictor but as soon as you see the first sign of smoke. Kink it.

you only need around 20 - 30 psi of oil


and we got 60 warm and around 80! cold.

I see people who run the ebay turbo on KL's without any restictor at all with no problems.

ok but how can i know if i have too much oil or not enough going to the turbo???

You can install a oil pressure gauge after an inline restrictor to find out the oil pressure. But is not about the pressure its the flowrate that is to much for the turbo. The restrictor will shoot the oil in at a higher psi but slow down the flow.

If it smokes, most likely the culprit.

ok and at what end do i put the restrictor? on the oil sending unit or the turbo inlet?

correct me if im wrong... but couldnt u run an individual oil pump or something set up to run oil just through the turbo at the flow rate IT needs???? :?: :shrug:
