1.6 sohc info

im trying to find out if a mazda miata 1.6 valve will work on the sohc of the b6e or 1993 mx3 1.6 sohc not not going to swap so please dont tell me to do that

You want to swap heads, or just valves?

i dont know if they'd fit or not but new ones cant be that much more work/money over used ones and new ones arent that hard to come buy check ebay

that makes no scene im trying to port and polish... use bigger valves .. where would i get them for a sohc ... not a dohc i dont care nither does my car .. as long as they fit the same

sorry bout that i must have read it wrong i don't know if it'd work but get a ruler and take some measurements of what you need and take it down to a speed shop I'm sure they could look em up that way

has anyone tryed to put a Throttle Body Spacer in if so did it do anything? and if so where did u find it or did u make it?

The thottle body spacers are useless on our cars.
There is not need for added plenum volume on the 1.6 sohc.

ok what about the cam shaft?
and would any parts form a B8 work with a b6 head only>>>
example cam shaft , intake manifold , Exhaust manifold ect.

the cam probably would free up a few ponies.

nothing from the b8/bp will swap over (except rods and a few select things)
The b8/bp is physically 22 mm longer than the b6 engine , sucks i know.

contact webcams? see if they can regrind one for you, you probably would have to supply the core.
