Its definitely a tricky part of it but doable. I just want to be certain other than the 3rd brake light that there is nothing else...

So the entire process will more than likely consist of 3 parts:

-Top
-Skeleton
-Partition (3rd brake light area)

If it proves to be too much work for the cost, then I will look at other options that satisfy the basic functionality.

Is it possible to make a sketch of what you're planning so that I can better picture this? I feel kind of dumb cause I can't refer to my car as it's in storage.

ahaah yea thats my g/f's pay pall she had the money in her acount so we used hers! I would be OK with no window in the back....

I definately want the little window in the back... even if I have to cut it out or something... not planning on using the third brake light but I need it to see as well as I think it looks stupid without a little window (no offense colin to your hatch, it's just not my style)

that was part of the reason I joined this BB - for a stock hatch in CF :shrug:

There is progress;

I just got a new job that i started this week; its made it hard for me to find time but not to worry.

The top skin should be ready for pics this friday, the top mold is done and the bottom one should be ready by friday.

We are still looking at the partition to see how best to resolve the issue. It will be as specified in the first post, so not to worry, no changes there...

Its gonna look good, trust me!

awesome the hatch looks great
94 gs ze swapped,front mount oil cooler,b&g springs, kyb gr2 struts, vris deleted, gutted, racing 4 point harness. centerforce dual friction clutch, BREMBO ROTORS X4, CARBOTECH XP10 front pads, ebc green stuff rear PADS, corksport brake lines & clutch line, hei mod w/ msd blaster 3, MAZDASPEED motor mounts, B&M short shifter, M-FACTORY LSD, Carbon fiber hatch with lexan window.
