1992 or 1994 BP01

Post by MX3Project2006 »

Was wondering if there is any difference in motors when it comes to the yrs. The MX-3 that it will be going into will be a 1992. The reason for this is because I can get either car ( the whole car ) for 350.00 and need to act quick.

The only thing I can think of that might apply is the 94 could be a long nose crank and the 92 a short nose crank.
Its the size of the crank bolt which fastens the pulley. You want the larger bolt head in this case.

I could be wrong on that, other than that one thing to look for they should be identical.

Unless one is out of a Ford Escort GT. Thats a whole new bag of marbles.
