I used the BF's injector harness on my BP (EGT) engine and the BF ECU runs it just fine. I had to splice in the IAC connector. I kept the stock EGT injectors. I tried some 280s but the BF ECU couldn't trim out enough fuel. I went back to stock which are 230cc I think.
Thought you guys might like to know.
My BP26 turbo and mani are on the way. I have an FIC ready to go but I'll wait untill the turbo is on. Actually... Maybe I should put in the bigger injectors and get it running n/a with the FIC's speed density setup -then- put the turbo on.
BF (B6 you guys call it) ECU will run a BP.
Re: BF (B6 you guys call it) ECU will run a BP.
Its known I just wouldnt recommend it if it is a 94 ECU with all the extra solenoids, you will run in limp mode more than likely.
B6 is the engine code and its on the ECU sticker, you do not have a BF.
All we need is B6 confusion.

The only thing I can see being a BF is the car classification perhaps, 323's were sometimes called BF's.Originally Posted by Gro Harlem :

Ummmm. Get much more than 230's or 280's. The FIC does not have a 50% trim limitation like conventional piggys. I've got RX 460cc's on the way. If you try to boost on those little things you may have issues.

The block has BF cast into it and the bellhousing end is cast differently then the B6 I have sitting 10 feet from me.

BF is the code for the chassis. Clubprotege.com
I don't know for sure, but I think its some 323s and some proteges.... I don't really care, so I'm not going to find out.

As of today. No codes, no cel. Idle is really low but so was the 1.6L.
Re: BF (B6 you guys call it) ECU will run a BP.
Just to update:
Still running days later, daily driven, no CEL. I can feel o2 feedback sweeping so it's in closed loop. Turbo is here and I'll be installing some 440 injectors and the FIC soon. Finally no more airflow sensor.
(I should put this in my build thread)
