In case you are new, if you buy this flywheel, more than likely you should also buy a new surface... which would cost about $68...

Yes, having the flywheel resurfaced, costs here about $40.

unfortunately after I sent the PM, 2fazed changed his mind and wanted to sell both items together which is fine it would just help if I had known that beforehand before I got monies together, planning, etc.

You can resurface the exchangeable surfaces from Fidanza flywheels? Is that suggested?

it's suggested in all flywheels to have them resurfaced before installing. It's to extend the lifetime in the flywheel.
