Parts for Sunroof?
I cant get the sunroof open on my 1993 gs. The shop I took it to says the switch is missing, any way to open it without the switch? If not where can I find a replacement?

The switch is MISSING? The switch would be right by your rear-view mirror, in the middle of the plastic. Is it there? Did they pull down your headliner? I don't trust shops.

Re: Parts for Sunroof?
If he was referring to the switch in the roof of the passenger compartment, it could be that the previouis owner had it apart for some reason and couldn't get it back together...or broke it.

Re: Parts for Sunroof?
I was ripping apart my 92 last week and just happen to find an allen key and instructions to crank open the sunroof. Check that out. I'll be on later today and give you the 411 once I get a chance to read the instructions. Cheers

Re: Parts for Sunroof?
I believe the allen key is underneath the rear seat

Re: Parts for Sunroof?
Not sure what models have this but there's a cap just aft of thye sun roof. Insert an allen key into the "internal hex nut" and turn. Not sure why but i found mine behind the passengers kick plate, strange.
