EDIT, I figured out that white thing is the neutral safety switch. So Now I just need to adjust pedal stuff. I will attempt that now.

UPDATE

I GOT IT TO WORK! I think at least. I need to wait til the car is lowered to the ground now...I had to adjust the pedal play.

Also the safety switch was broken, so to fix it, I jammed a screw in there...yeah I know its not a safety switch no more but I'll be fine.

mine is broken as well and I have to manually press it with my hand to start the car - maybe I'll try your remedy :welder:

I used a 1/4 or something and just threaded it in there (not forcing it, the threads fit PERFECT into the hole).

Mine was broken like 1/4 inch ouch from it, so I just pushed it in the rest of the way w/ the screw. If you have more sticking out then that, you will prob. need to break it off shorter so you can get a screw in there.

I have more of the screws I used if you would like me to mail you one in return for stuff you mailed me :-P

Glad you fixed the problem. I took these pics a few hours ago but had to sit in a meeting so just been able to load them up. Maybe they will help.

well...if you want to send me the neutral safety switch...sweet. But I figure having a car that starts like an automatic isnt bad either (I push the clutch in anyway)

I'll hafta wait a week either way since I'm moving back to college.

Dude...the ze kicks a--, even running rich, idling terribly and smoking.

I barely let off the clutch to test if it was moving and it just wanted to launch me into my shed...lol good thing I installed my brakes right...
