removing glove compartment w/ broken handle

Post by the_anj »

A buddy of mine broke the handle off of my glove compartment and now I can't open it.
Does anyone know how to open it when the handle is broken?

Flathead screwdriver. It'll take a little time to figure it out, but you'll get it open.
Provided you are refering to the passenger side box and not the center one.

Pretty much. There's almost like a little button thingy that you press down. I just checked mine (same problem) There's a slot in the center on the handle region. Take the flathead screwdriver and push down on the sliding thing. It SHOULD open. If I had a camera I'd show you exactly, but I don't.
