I bought this one, works well. http://www.obdpros.com/product_info.php?products_id=133" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It came with a r/h plug.

OK, tonite I swapped in a KL02 VAF. I had been finding the throttle a little sluggish and after the Clean Air check I wasn't happy with the exhaust vapours so.
After installation I took the car up the street but it seemed a little jerky on acceleration. I went back and reset my idle screw 3/4 of a turn closed so it was around the 3 turn out point. I then went out to the Hwy and proceeded to kick it. A young guy in a TDI went by me on the ramp as I geared down to first on the curb. I then 'gave it' and before that people's car Dude knew what hit him I was well down the Hwy ahead of him. Car had some serious acceleration, the only sour point was the new Piece O Sh*T MX-6 clutch. I did a couple more runs and found myself with a very firm grip on the steering wheel as the car really seemed to haul a-- now.
Image

You'll notice that the O2 sensor volts have dropped form the previous O2 sensor pic. Remember the pic is just one shot in time. Being that the O2 sensor volts have dropped that usually translates into a leaner fuel mixture and that's what I wanted to see. I'm not experiencing that slight hesitation from idle that I was before so I think the mixture has been leaned out a bit by the KL02 VAF. I'm feeling smoother acceleration as well.
Image

I'll drive around for the next couple of days and see how things go but so far the KL02 seems to of done the trick (as I was told it would). I believe I'm pulling more ponies as well. I didn't have any issue with the clutch before, now I have to back off when I shift or it slips long enough to be almost embarrasing. Remember I'm using the KL02 because my ECU is OBD2. It dosen't work with the stock ECU on the 92-95 OBD1's.

Daninski, I take it that with OBDII ECU you have 4 slots to plug things into the ECU. The spare slot is where you slotted that OBDII scan tool, right?

No OBD2 has 4 plugs instead of the 3 for OBD1. The connector for the scan tool interface if just behind the center consol on the passagers side just under the dash.. Reach under and up and you'll feel a long plug with around 10 pins

I have the 94' MX3 w/ B6DE engine, what would I need to run ScanTools?

That's awesome how you electronically setup your system, and from looking at the Scan Tools site theres alot you can do just by hooking a PC up to your car. I want to do the same thing, I was looking into a mini laptop from Newegg.com and with this I can constantly monitor the engine.

Umm I don't think you can do your car as it's OBD1, 96 and after were OBD2, a different ECU system. I don't think there's an interface to connect to.

Are you running an FPR?
Do you have the EGR hooked up?

I can't believe I haven't commented on this yet. I must have been having a rough time.
Nice car! That is very interesting that you can read your OBDII. Is it real time, or datalog?

Just the stock ZE FPR and I did hook up the EGR so I wouldn't get a code but of course the intake isn't drilled so no exhaust gas is reciring.

Jesse, no need to comment. Nice that you finally noticed :(
