GETTING JUNKYARD PARTS, NEED ANY?

Post by 2fazed »

I found a black on black 94 MX auto at the junkyard a couple of days ago. It is in extremely good condition all around. No parts have been took off, only noticed the drivers side turn signal and that part of the front bumper was damaged.
I'm stripping most of the interior, would anyone need anything. The more I buy, the better the price. The outside looks good, all the quarter panels, and hatch garnish and back bumper looks undamaged. I'm guessing the engine is bad, It's worth buying it and putting a new engine in.
If interested, give me a price that you want to pay, not including shipping in US dollars, and I'll see what they want for it. I have no idea if it's a good price, so make sure you offer a price.
[ May 28, 2003: Message edited by: 2fazed ]

There having the sale this weekend, so I'm going this Saturday. I'll check for the valve cover for $20.
The quarter panel, that's the part above the tire on the outside, right? Need a price to ask, cause if i take it off, I have to buy it. The center e-brake cover doesn't have the top with cup holder, but the rest is there.
Remember, this car is a 94 auto, all black, 4cl.
Doesn't have power windows or locks.
[ May 29, 2003: Message edited by: 2fazed ]

:( My cupholder latch and hinges broke...thus the need for one. I guess if it doesn't have it, then I don't want it. Thanks for the help though.

I still don't have a clue on that metal piece. Maybe a pic of where to look. I know it has it, cause the car hasn't been touched, except the battery taken out. No one here has or goes to junkyards to fix em. I've been junking this one here for the last 2 years, and the guy says I'm the only person that comes for it.

Hey I need the air vents from the ones by the windshield. These are probably cheap lets say $10 plus shipping.

It's the outside panel, if it's a good price and comes off, I can't be there all day taking things off. But I'll give it a try. I can get you the vents on the dash from a 92 dash. The interior with the dash, door panels, etc I'm taking. But I already have a black carpet, so I'll probably take that and sell.
What I'll do is take part inquireys, ask this Saturday when I'm getting my stuff, then I'll go get the parts with deals made on Sunday.

I think Ty needs the exterior sheetmetal. You need to cut the panel off. It's not easy. You then need a truck or something to transport it and a pallet to attach it to for shipping (by truck, most likely.)
Unless you go get it yourself, Ty, I don't think you're going to get it.
