Sitting in the store. Screaming my Name.

I'm thinking about these,

(2) Alpine 10" 250W Car Subwoofer Type E
(1) Bassworx's Dual 10" Slot Ported Subwoofer Enclosure

not to diss or anything, but i hope your not just buying it for the name, because you can get a much better sub for around the same price or cheaper...

i dont mind you asking - i hate to see people throw money away, just because of a name, now of course i'm going to suggest Audiobahn - not just because that's what i'm building my system with, but because i know what they can do from experience i used to have a single 10" hooked up to a 400 watt amp in my protege and turned up half way, it would vibrate every hair on my body :freak: even in those 'unmentionable places' :freak: - it felt weird.
but if its a name that you're familiar with that your after - then by all means i would suggest Rockford or JL, but JL if i had a choice of the two - its just rockford is cheaper than JL and i certainly wouldnt pay retail for any of these speakers - go to a flea market or eBay - i NEVER pay retail and i've never been disappointed.

Get a single 12" or 15" kicker CVX, you won't be dissapointed. Sound quality of a JL and a tad more durable.
