bucking

Post by Cpl_Bryant »

I've got the BPT. If I accellerate and then release the pedal (without shifting gears) the car bucks a few times until it gets settled. But if I accellerate and change to the next gear or neutral, it doesn't happen. Not sure what the name for this condition is so I couldn't really find anything searching. Let me know if more information is needed. Thanks all. :|

I have this issue with my KLZE as well - The problem for me is a mashed up rear motor mount.

If you are giving it gas and let off, the motor still has torque on it from the tranny and being in gear, that is why it is bucking.

If you are changing gears or putting into neutral then the torque is taken off as you have the clutch in or the car is in neutral so it is just revving down because you are disengaged from a working transmission.
