rear hatch squeaks

Post by seboroth »

Hey guys, got an issue that I hope you guys can help me out on, I've also already searched, there isn't much on this topic. So my hatch squeaks when going over bumps and what not and I know its because of the upgraded suspension setup I have on the car. I'm wondering if anyone has figured out some rubber piece or maybe something like a outside hatch hold downs I've seen on drift cars ( such as ae86's and silvia's ) Or should I just live with it, let me know what you guys think out there. Thanks.

isn't it just adjusting the rear latch or wrapping tape around the latch to make it snug?

love the pic lol, anyway I'll have to try that then. I put white lithium grease on the striker and it opens and closes better, I was having problems with that before. But I'll give that a whirl and see what happens.

OMG! I did that to mine and the creaking went away too! I thought it was my strut mounts making noise like they might have been loose! this should be a sticky!
