ok i was told that the escort gt has a bpt in it. is this true????? and what would be the best way to get it. go to junkyard or what???? im on london and dont really no of many plces here i could get the motor

No its not true. The 91 - 96 Escort has a BP motor but not the turbo'd version (BPT).

The BPT came in the Mazda Famillia GTX and GTR. You might be able to find them online at various importers, I would send you links to US and Canadian ones but shipping would probably kill you. I am not sure as to what is out there for importers where you are at.

I would really really really like one too. I would be willing to drive a few days to go get it, even. I like in southern Manitoba, about 45mins from the border (dead above North Dakota, if you don't know)

Hmm.. JDM... I did find them on google, but one in Toronto instead of Calgary.. thats a long way away for me... a solid two days driving. Oh well, ditch the school and take the Gf. Clean out my car real nice.... or maybe make a biking trip out of it... hmm... super good idea... thanks, man
