Modding Integra (94-01) Intake for 1.6L DOHC

Post by erixon »

I just have a couple questions for people who have done this mod before. I just got my CAI in the mail today and I have two questions:

-How did you make the second hose fit in the CAI, as there is only one fitting on the intake.
-Where did you cut your intake to make it fit, and how did you go about cutting it?

I am a little scared to cut too much of the intake off by the throttle body, not giving it enough straight pipe before the curve...I dont want it to slip off.

If someone can shed a little light that would be great. Thanks.

Hardware shops have the extra fitting and its pretty much a just do it kinda thing. you kinda set it all in there and see what needs to be cut and then go at it with a hack saw.
