Re: someone help plz!
Check the wiring to your MAF. I had a loose wire in there that was causing my car to behave like yours, shoved it back in and it's been fine ever since.

yeh i have the maf plugged in and i checked the wiring
made sure the clip was in too
if i get no codes shouldnt that mean there is nothing wrong wit the sensors?
do u guys think its the o2 sensor? but the cel isnt catching it?
maybe my ECU is fried from when i burned my main engine fuse and i need a new one?
could the short cuircuit have messed with any of the sensors?....
thanks guys for trying to help me out.. i think im jus gonna fork over sum cash and take it to a mechanic
theres to many things that could be wrong

Re: someone help plz!
ok so removed the cone filter and held the vane open on the vaf
the car ran perfectly (no sputtering and held the rpm at 1000)
but as soon as i released it it shuts off
i replaced the vaf and same thing happens
seems to me like the engine is starving for air or maybe the sensor isnt calculating the right amount of air to fuel ratio?
maybe the ECU is damaged?
ive replaced so many parts it has to be!
any ideas??
