B6DE: KLZE swap

Post by MX-3-Tom »

Hi guys,

do you have a FAQ about swapping a 1997 MX-3 with B6DE to KL-ZE?
Which parts from a V6 MX-3 do I need?

Thanks for helping!
Tom

I used the search.

But this is my problem:
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: klze swap b6.

Wow, talk about no effort. this is very simple. You need everything. When I say everything, I do mean everything. Here is the how to.... Buy 2 cars and swap everything, spend time and money... while buggin everyone on this forum, with every little "how do I?" problem you will have.

Best of luck.

I guess.

yea you will need ALOT, a whole front end really - engine mounts, tranny, axles, hubs?, ecu, wiring harness...etc. I would stick to another i4 engine - bp and go the turbo route. Or buy an early v6 car and swap a ze into that. I'm pretty sure there's some articles in the FAQ for v6/4cyl will clarify this for you.
