RX7 Fuel Pump...

Post by Shades »

Hey... I'll be turbo'ing my BP soon and need to pump more fuel. I was told that I can either go Walbro or RX7 fuel pump... word on the street says that those Walbro's are pretty loud. The RX7 flows 222lph versus the Walbro's 255lph... so that's more than enough for me.

I was wondering for those that have installed a RX7 fuel pump, is it just a straight drop in no mods needed?

Thanks...

the walbro are not as loud as what the rumors say

go the extra mile with walbro 255

u will be happy in the long run do it rite

Alright... do they make a non-high pressure pump?

If not, will it work with my FPR?

why would u want a non high pressure pump

i had both the rx-7 and walbro pump on a stock fuel rail and n/a bp stock FPR

i never had issues with both.

I was told that the FPR could not handle a high pressure pump...

Thanks you very much, you've been very helpful! :D

the walbro fits in fine, just bend the bracket, youll see when you get it, its not hard
its a little louder? but who cares? if you want to make power why are you worried about being able to hear a fuel pump, its not like its so loud its the only thing you can hear, you wont even notice it after the 1st or 2nd crankup
walbros go for like $200 on ebay, much better, more fuel=more power
