New BP Dyno, old Dyno , and SOHC B6 Dyno... comparison

Post by atlantamx3 »

Its been right at two years since the last dyno night I attended, and I have since purchased smaller, lightweight wheels. Everything else is the same.

Temp was 35-40 degrees F.-- which is a bit cold for max power... but it matches the temp when my last dyno was done in January of 2006.

I gained approx 3 wheel HP.

Here is the dyno chart over layed with the Dyno chart from 2006.

I am happy with the numbers, as it is a stock BP with a Martelius header and a ebay intake. Stock exhaust and cat. Although I do have the same muffler I had two years ago.

Pics to come!

Here is the sheet from 2008 with no overlays:

And, just as a comparison, here is an overlay of the OEM 1.6L SOHC B6 with Automatic transmission from 2001:

haha, WOW what a difference!

So much for the B6's 80-something HP!

How much did that dyno cost you?
