The old one was not AWD  I went from a MX3 to a Mazda 3 and love it as well. They are a super solid car.

I perfer the Speed3 to the Speed6, feels more nimble, ligher and faster. I'm sure any suspension would do it, but man, the MazdaSpeed suspension for the Speed3 very much tempted me to sell the Mx and get a Speed3, great car.

Man same exact car I plan on buying this summer when I get rid of the GTI , except not a speed , I am looking for economy rather than speed this time around, but some sportiness to go along with it , definately getting a white hatch though , I love the look ,

I have an 07' Carbon Grey Sport GT and we love it. Only 160hp or so, but very good pull for that power rating. The fuel mileage is not as good as you think though. After 15,000km of my wife driving it most of the time, we're averaging <25mpg. The Speed3 would be about the same. If you can afford it I would recommend that. I plan to trade up if I get the chance. 268hp sounds like wayyyyy more fun to me.
