Sheesh, I just wanted to vent about my super crowded engine bay as of late!
it is been turbo'd, HEI'd, External coil'd, AFPR'd, FMU'd, Cold air kit'd, and it still has the battery up front. Geez, it is only a matter of time until I get something mixed up!
btw: I got my car running again. The plugs were so fouled up from the bigger injectors that it barely ran at all. changed plugs and installed a AFPR and all is well now I think.
***********
Oh yeah! quick question, has anyone ever had the end of the spark plug wire(rubber grommet thingy) stay with the plug when you pull the wire out? how do I get that damn thing out now?

Re: crowded engine bay
Worst vent of 2008 so far.
As far as the rubber grommit, yea that happens when your spark plug cables are old and crappy. Oil leaking on them from a bad VC gasket dont help either. Stick a spark plug wrench down there and pull the plug out to fish it out or wait till the motor is cool and try to get the grommit by putting the spark plug wire back in and out.

Re: crowded engine bay
Thanks solo, I will try that.
btw, I couldn't get my spark plug socket over the rubber thingy, but I will try the wire in and out thing, it sounds like it will work.

and ya, my vents are usually not that bad I guess
