Is it cooler to have japanese metric gauges?

will it help me to run the klde pGT's VAF? I just happen to have one, and I wonder if it will help when I boost this thing.(I am running a k8 btw)

BTW: do ya know what's annoying sorta?

having metric JDM gauges for your car.

I don't know how to convert psi to kg/cm3 or whatever.
my 300zx has all Japanese gauges(lettering and everthing), and even though it looks neat and different, it is not really easy to read ;)

Yes it will definately run like crap , use the KL01 for a KLDE and you can use your stock JE50 for the KLZE,
as for the gauge , I would get an American spec gauge , it is important to see what is going on inside a turbocharged engine , Little mistakes can make big booms .
So I would reccomend ,
1 A wideband 02
2 A EGT Gauge
3 A Boost gauge
4 A oil pressure gauge

Everything else can basically be monitered with the stock gauges installed in the car ,

EGT= Exhaust Gas Temperature

Its nice to have if you don't plan on having a wideband in your car at all times , if you happen to have a problem you will be able to monitor how hot your car is running through the exhaust, indicating a lean mixture from a problem such as a weak injector etc.
Some Cheap people , actually use it as a cheap way to street tune .

thanks for the advice though, it will help someone.

No problem , Its just that a lot of wide bands out there aren't in a gauge form and people sometimes tend to remove them after tuning , especially if they have multiple cars , such as myself.
