HERES SOME QUESTIONS!!!
first off i tried using the search here and it seems like the same topics always come up no matter what i search for...so im sorry if these questions have been answered but some help would be appreciated...does anyone know of a good short shifter for the mx3? what engines have interchangeable parts with the KLZE? will regular exhausts for the Mx3 work with the KLZE swap? or do you need custom work? just some questions ive been lookin for the answers to and couldnt find...THANKS :D
1993 MX-3 w/ straight neck KLZE swap...Probe GT 2.5in headers, Custom exhaust w/ test pipe and OBX Twin Loop Tip, Bully Stage 3 Clutch, Fidanza Flywheel, Pheno Spacers, HEI mod, Blaster SS coil, Probinator chip, TWM short shifter, AWR front and rear mounts (88 Durometer), and Corksport braided clutch line...so far

Probably didnt seach well LOL then again search isnt that good..
anywho...
the exhaust manifolds will bolt up. basically the block fits.
Thje difference is that the ze doesnt come with the fan thermosensor, you gotta drill it. Also no egr. Thats pretty much it..
change the ecu and use curved neck manifold. Pretend sorta that you are swapping stock for stock

Pacesetter makes a nice adjustable short shifter, Can adjust the height to something that is comfortable to your driving needs..
Most parts from the mx-3 are interchangeable, However if you are replacing gaskets, belts, wires, whatever, it is best to get a set for a Mazda Millenia 2.5 v6... you might even find that the list price is lower then parts for our mx-3...
hgallegos915 Already answered your exhaust q.
P.S sometimes the search does mess up. Just give it a couple minutes then try again... You might have to weed through the junk but 99.99% of the info you need is in there somewheres.

I have Pacesetters in both my cars - the best IMO. I had a B&M but it was much more expensive AND it wasn't adjustable...Kirk95gs wrote:Pacesetter makes a nice adjustable short shifter, Can adjust the height to something that is comfortable to your driving needs..

no they don't fit. all 2.5L KL's have different exhaust manifolds. The flange is positioned differently. unless you use a kl y pipe which doesn't bolt up to your exhaust without cutting because its longer, and in that case get headers.hgallegos915 wrote:the exhaust manifolds will bolt up. basically the block fits.
depends on the year and what car the ZE is from. Some have the thermosensor and some don't. if not you can swap or drill.hgallegos915 wrote:Thje difference is that the ze doesnt come with the fan thermosensor, you gotta drill it
What if you don't drill the Fan Thermosensor? Will you have any problems? What could happen?hgallegos915 wrote:Probably didnt seach well LOL then again search isnt that good..
