Which Magnaflow?
I've done a bunch of searches on which muffler is "best" for a ZE MX-3 and I'm pretty sure Magnaflow is the brand to go with. However, I'm not really sure which Magnaflow I want. I'm looking for something that's relatively quiet up to 3500-4k and louder above that. So, oval? round? 4"? 6"? Any opinions would be much appreciated.

For sound, it seems like a single tip is quieter than the duals, but most people perfer the duals for the stock look. Myself I have just a Magnaflow 4" skewed tip with a Magnaflow high-flow cat and it's probably one of the quietest setup people have heard.

i've heard mx-3's with klze and magnaflow 5x8 14" with single tip with a vibrant resonator and 2.5" piping. sounded so nice. I also have a vibrant resonator. and i would recomend one. magnaflow is really nice sounding and very nice quality but can be a tad loud on sport compacts like the mx3. If you wanta quiet, but deep throaty sound like a muscle car go with a Flowmaster 60series deltaflow.Icarus_27 wrote:Your car does sound pretty good on youtbube. Greddy seems to be expensive/ harder to find though. I think I'm probably going to go with a 5x8x14 oval Magnaflow single outlet, high flow cat, maybe add a resonator if it's too loud.screw magnaflow go with Greddy!
I have a friend with a Remus on his mx3, it sounds really really nice but don't give that kl scream like alot of free flowing exhausts, but it does sound nice.
