Need new clutch?

how do i know if I need a new clutch, my car hesitates on first gear if I try to take off, but I changed the intake piping and it stopped hesitation for a bit but now it is back. I read on here that I should test the clutch by trying to move the car from stop using 5th gear. I did that and the car didnt stall right away it went like 2 meters then stalled. Do I need a new clutch, could that be why my car hesitates?

it sounds like you have a vacuum leak not a bad clutch , if your clutch is bad then it wont grab, when you try taking off in 5th it will rev up and not stall if the clutch is bad.
