Exhaust Question

Post by matt_s »

Hey guys, I'm new new to the site and to the the MX-3. I'm looking at a MX-3 that apparently has a small exhaust leak right were the manifold connects to the rest of the exhaust system, what i'm wondering is how hard is this to fix, and how much are the parts to do it?

thanks

probably just needs a new gasket. parts would be less than $20. the job is pretty easy too. make sure you soak the bolts w/ PB blaster and maybe have a propane torch handy in case they are really tight.

nothing on the exhaust costs that much! even if the header was cracked or the downpipe was rusted, you could get parts for less than $200.
