First mods I did to my 1998 V6 were as follows:
1. Replaced standard 15" 5 spokes with 17" TSW Heats on Yokos (I still have the standard wheels if anyone is interested in them)
2. Scrapped the standard Head unit and all the speakers. Replaced with Sony Head unit and 10 disc changer. 6" 210 watt Sony speakers front and back with tweaters & cross overs. Took out standard parcel shelf and custom made new MDF shelf fitted with 380 watt JBL 6x9's. Custom made trunk build to house disc changer 2 x 300 watt sony xplod amps, 2 x 1000 watt JBL 10" subs and a 1000 watt mono block amp. Sounds great!!!
3. replaced back box with stainless steel sports box by long life.
4. CAI
5. Replaced standard brake discs for drilled & groved with green stuff pads.
Plans for the futre.... well once I've got enough money I would really like a klze possibly with a turbo. See how it goes though!
