Post by kudkudniyog »

I am looking for a shop or somebody that can install and tune a Megasquirt system in SW FL.

Not trying to be a S.A. but why don't you just build it yourself. That is kinda what MegaSquirt is all about. They even have t-shirts that say, "I built it myself, so I can fix it myself." It is not terribly hard to do. I had never soldered before in my life when I built mine and the V3 board is tightly grouped.

So, you're saying, it's pretty easy to do. right?

It's not the install I'm too worried about. It's the tuning.

Same here.
Put the MS together without any problems, but ended up selling it, as there`s noone here in Norway with any knowledge regarding MS tuning, and K-series engines. I dont have the resources to destroy my engine and just get a new one :)

Besides Megasquirt, what other fuel management system will work? (economical ones < $500.00)

If you want a fuel management system, MapECU seems cheap and easy.
If you need more (ignition etc) MapECU 2 seems like a nice alternative.

I`m thinking of getting a MapECU to handle fuel and to remove my VAF.
