heads off! allmost NO wear in the cylinders at all, looks really clean for the age and milage of this motor.
Im super excited to get this going.... but i got a couple of questions.
1) i have the option to either bore of hone the cylinder, its not bad at all, and im thinking i should just hone and save me the cost of new pistons.
2) who makes good rings. and where can i buy them.
3) who makes good bearings, and where can i buy them?

well you could see if wiseco makes rings for the F2T. If they do you could even drive straight to their warehouse and pick them up for a lot less than any store.
1993 1.6L SOHC. Mazdaspeed mounts, BP09 ECU, BP VAF, Fidanza miata flywheel, exedy miata pressure plate, centerforce mx3 disc, tokico struts, B&G lowering springs, and some sh***y motomaster tires.

Anyone heard of TOTAL SEAL rings?
apparently they are the best, hands down. I can get a complete set for $180 USD. not sure how good of a deal that is.
As for bearings, who should i get them from?
and just a bit of an update, the block went out today to get cleaned. Should be back Friday.

just to note guy these F2T motors can handle 30psi no problem given that they have poper tuning. In OEM form.
