Mini-Meet April 28th PICS!!

Post by Bling Bling »

Looking forward to seeing everyone today...talk in person rather than emails, phone,....say Tim, what time are you heading down today? If you(and any tag-a-longs want to hook-up with me in Airdrie) let me know and we could convoy in. Sound cool? Is there anyone from Edmonton coming other than Timmie_G? Anyway, PM me or post if you need cell number to call me. See everyone at 11:30AM.

The tail lights are from an RX-8. About the front I don't know but it sure ain't my cup of tea. Props for the job, but not my taste. Doesn't look like an MX-3 anymore...

yeah, its a nicely finished job, but the front lights are horrible lol, i didnt even know it was an mx-3 until i saw the other pics, tails are nice but altezzas do the job and keep the mx-3 style alive, overall i like the car but it looks nothing like an mx-3, which makes it inferior to other mx-3s :P

The silver one, best we can tell belongs (belonged) to an ex-member.

Darcy, is it just me, or do our cars look a little "Plain-Jane" next to the other two?

It looks like a Cavalier when I first saw it... like the back, don't like the front.

wow I thought at first they had come out with a new Honda CRX... I like the job he did on the back but the front right light needs some work... overal nice job on that car but I don't care for it... everything is too pointy and it has lost it's mx-3 flair.

I know a lot of work went into that car so I won't bash him - to each his own!

The car shell used to belong to Chris Lomenda. The new owner bought it and dropped in a BPT and added in the RX-8 tail lights. The protege fronts were in before. It was definitely well done. The interior is coming along well. I took a video of the thing revving. I should have taken one as he drove off since it sounds better with a load on the engine. I don't think I could beat that thing on the track, especially without my KLZE back in the car.

There were 5 cars in total : Darcy's Blaze Red, My "Bling Bling", Mark's Black, the "Wine" colored one, and a silver one( belonged to employee at CC. No tan cars. The lighting that day may have thrown the color off.
