ABS brake question

Post by koireland »

Hey I'm currently purchasing 4 used brake calipers with fairly new pads and rotors, because I have a seized caliper and 2 bad rotors, plus need pads anyways. So my question is, I have a 93 SE with ABS, with brakes of a non SE still work for me?

Yes, the ABS sensor is located on the spindle and the ABS cog is on the axle, so that replacing the calipers will not change anything with the ABS. You might look at the sensors face and clean it. They get pretty dirty and it can effect the usefullness of the sensor.
